കൊച്ചി: കൊച്ചി മരടിലെ ഫോറം മാളിന് സമീപമുള്ള തട്ടുകട പരിസരത്ത് നവജാത ശിശുവിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തി. പ്രസവിച്ച് മണിക്കൂറുകൾ മാത്രം പ്രായമുള്ള ആൺകുഞ്ഞിനെയാണ് (Newborn baby) വഴിയരികിൽ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച നിലയിൽ ഇന്നലെ രാത്രിയോടെ നാട്ടുകാർ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഉടൻ തന്നെ വിവരമറിഞ്ഞ് മരട് പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി തുടർനടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
കുഞ്ഞിനെ പ്രാഥമിക വൈദ്യപരിശോധനകൾക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കിയതായും നിലവിൽ കുട്ടിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യനില തികച്ചും തൃപ്തികരമാണെന്നും പോലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് സുരക്ഷിതമായ പരിചരണത്തിനായി കുഞ്ഞിനെ എറണാകുളം അമ്മത്തൊട്ടിലിലേക്ക് (Ammathottil) കൈമാറി. കുട്ടിയുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനായി പ്രദേശത്തെ സിസിടിവി (CCTV) ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് മരട് പോലീസ് വിശദമായ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
Short Brief
A newborn baby, believed to be just hours old, was found abandoned near a roadside eatery close to the Forum Mall in Kochi. Upon being alerted by locals, the Maradu police rushed to the spot and rescued the infant. Officials confirmed that the baby is in good health and has been safely transferred to the Ernakulam ‘Ammathottil’ (electronic baby cradle facility). An investigation is currently underway to identify the parents.
