കൊച്ചി: നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾ പഴക്കമുള്ള കേരള-അറബ് ബന്ധം കൂടുതൽ ശക്തമാക്കുന്നതിനും സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ടൂറിസം, വിജ്ഞാനം, ആരോഗ്യം എന്നീ മേഖലകളിൽ ആഗോള കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നതിനുമായി സർക്കാർ വൻ വികസന പദ്ധതികൾ നടപ്പാക്കുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വി. ഡി. സതീശൻ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച അറിയിച്ചു.
കൊച്ചിയിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഇന്തോ-അറബ് കണക്റ്റ് 2026 കോൺഫറൻസ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. അറബ് നിക്ഷേപകരെയും വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളെയും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്ത സതീശൻ, അറബ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് കൂടുതൽ സഞ്ചാരികളെയും നിക്ഷേപകരെയും കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് ആകർഷിക്കുക എന്നത് സർക്കാരിന്റെ പ്രധാന മുൻഗണനയാണെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
“അറബ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ജനങ്ങളും മലയാളികളും തമ്മിൽ അഗാധമായ സഹോദരബന്ധമാണ് നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത്. അറബ് ലോകത്തുനിന്ന് കൂടുതൽ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളെയും നിക്ഷേപകരെയും കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് ആകർഷിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് സർക്കാരിന്റെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം,” എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.
Keralam to Become Global Hub for Tourism, Knowledge, Healthcare: CM V D Satheesan
KOCHI: Chief Minister V D Satheesan on Monday stated that the government will implement major development projects to strengthen the centuries-old ties between Keralam and Arab countries, transforming the state into a global hub for tourism, knowledge, and healthcare.
Inaugurating the Indo-Arab Connect 2026 conference here, Satheesan extended a warm welcome to Arab investors and tourists, emphasizing that attracting more visitors and investments from Arab nations remains a top priority for the state administration.
“The people of the Arab countries and Keralites share a deep, brotherly relationship. The government’s main objective is to attract more tourists and investors from the Arab world to Keralam,” the Chief Minister said.
