കൊല്ലം: കൊല്ലത്ത് പീഡന കേസിൽ പുരോഹിതനെ ചവറ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. പരിമണം കാർമൽ ഭവൻ ആശ്രമത്തിലെ മുൻ അന്തേവാസിയും നിലവിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം പുളിങ്കുടിയിലെ ധ്യാനകേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരികയുമായിരുന്ന ഫാ. ഡെന്നീസ് പ്രവീൺ ആണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്. ധ്യാനം കൂടാനെത്തിയ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ഇയാൾ പീഡനത്തിനിരയാക്കിയെന്നാണ് കേസ്. 2022 മുതൽ 2024 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവിൽ പല തവണ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ഇയാൾ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതായി പരാതിയിൽ പറയുന്നു. പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ചവറ പോലീസ് കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത് പ്രതിയെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.
